1962 Ferrari 250 GT



1962 Ferrari 250 GT PF Cabriolet Series II in Barchetta Red with Tan Interior equipped with Borrani Wire Wheels. Chasis # 3727. This was the first Ferrari to employ the new V-12 engine developed by Ferrari racing division, called the 128F. The 250 PF Cabriolet had a revised cylinder head design with outside spark plugs and produced 240 hp. Ferrari also went with 4 wheel disc brakes and a 4 -speed transmission with overdrive, telescopic shock absorbers replaced leveraction units and twin distributors replaced the single unit. Produced from 1959 until 1962 and only 200 units made this 1962 250 Pinin Farina designed Ferrari represents one of the best values in todays skyrocketing convertible market.
